These units are very versitile with many modes from which to choose for your particular purpose.
After receiving my order, I setup just one unit as a stand-alone repeater and easily doubled my router's coverage without any wiring.
Using the bridge mode, I now have a good solid green connection and internet access at an extended network approx.150 feet away, passing through several walls and two rows of tall trees. I accomplished this by careful placement and by use of the built-in antenna alignment utility.
I highly recommend this system.
