I am both, an amateur surface weather observer and SKYWARN Severe Storm Spotter with two professional weather stations located in Southeast Louisiana. Log on to: http://www.moisantweather.com for weather station and climatological data. One of the most attracted attributes of the ProWeatherStation is the easy set-up and install. The second attribute was the price. I highly recommend this weather station for the amateur weather observer's first station. Back in the early 90's, my first station was the Radio Shack WM-200. It took me several days to install, due to sensor siting restrictions. The ProWeatherStation sensor array can be modified to accomodate sensor siting requirements as well. The station software is very easy to install. Just plug-in the attached usb cable and go!!.....I have donated this weather station, console and software to a local elementary school, computer laboratory for educating 4th, 5th and 6th graders in the weather and climate curriculums. The ProWeatherStation can be an economical and accurate planning tool for construction projects, farming and emergency response operations as well.
